Strengthening NGO Capacity to Monitor Volunteer Performance in Ghana

File Type .pdf | File Size 1.27 MB

For local nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) in Ghana, accurate data management is important to effectively target and implement programming and report the successes of those programs. However, NGOs often face challenges because their work is being conducted by volunteers untrained in data management. This brief highlights two ways that Ghana Promoting Malaria Prevention and Treatment (ProMPT) project, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) through the President’s Malaria Initiative (PMI) and managed by University Research Co., LLC (URC) have had positive impact on strengthening NGO capacity in monitoring data management.
