Strength of Women Foundation is a Ghanaian nongovernmental organization (NGO) in the Adaklu-Anyigbe District of Volta Region. Although the NGO had been working on malaria control and prevention over the past five years, its capacity to bring about sustainable change increased dramatically with a 2011 grant from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)-funded Promoting Malaria Prevention and Treatment (ProMPT) project. This success story describes how the partnership helped extend the reach of malaria prevention and treatment to community members in Volta Region.
