New Software Delivers Essential Medicines on Time
File Type: PDF | File Size: 850.13 KB
This success story describes how URC helped improve access to medicines in one area of Benin, where shortages and stock outs of essential drugs were a common obstacle to quality health care. The USAID-funded Integrated Family Health Program (PISAF) supported the government to improve stock management through a computerized system and training in product forecasting and drug management. The Ministry of Health requested national scale-up of the successful program.
