LAKBAY BUHAY KALUSUGAN (LBK) Journey to a Healthy Lifestyle Bus
The Philippine's Department of Health (DOH), with technical assistance from USAID's Health Promotion and Communication Project (HealthPRO), recently expanded health promotion and service delivery to underserved areas in the Philippines by launching Lakbay Buhay Kalusugan (LBK) -- an innovative customized mobile health clinic to promote family health messages on safe motherhood, child health and nutrition, and family planning.
The Lakbay Buhay Kalusugan ("Journey to a Healthy Lifestyle") bus offers maternal and child health medical consultations, primary health care and referral services, health education packages, and an interactive exhibit of health messages.
