International Literacy Day Social Media Kit
The Global Reading Network has designed a social media advocacy campaign to support International Literacy Day on September 8, 2014.
Advocates for early reading around the world are invited to include their personal messages about why reading is important, take a photo, and post it to their social media accounts in the days leading up to the global awareness day.
Produced in English, French, Spanish, Khmer, and Arabic, these signs can be downloaded and printed anywhere in the world. To participate, simply print your sign, complete the sentence, "Reading is important because . . .", take a photograph of yourself holding the sign, and tweet the photograph, using the hashtag #ILD14 and including @GblReadingNtwk in your post.
