HCI Nicaragua: Manos limpias salvan vidas (Clean hands save lives, Spanish)
The Health Care Improvement Project in Nicaragua (September 2007-Present), funded by the US Agency for International Development and managed by University Research Co., LLC seeks to improve prevention and control of infections as one of its main project activities in hospitals nationwide. These videos (Manos Limpias Salvan Vidas Parte I and Parte II), in Spanish, are educational segments that seek to promote correct hygiene through hand washing and/or use of alcohol rubs to reduce nosocomial infections.
