The USAID-funded TRAction Project awarded funding in April 2011 to Johns Hopkins University (JHU) to conduct research on innovative data collection approaches for monitoring and evaluating iCCM programs in Malawi and Mali. The research aims to help program managers and Ministries of Health identify problems and improve the effectiveness of iCCM programs. This Fact Sheet provides a brief background of the issue and an overview of JHU’s research.
