URC in partnership with the Desmond Tutu Tuberculosis Centre, with funding from the United States Agency for International Development and President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief, conducted the research for this study at URC-supported facilities in South Africa in 2008. The study reports on the extent and impact of nosocomial transmission of TB among health care workers.
