Katharine McPhee, star of the TV show Smash and an American Idol runner-up, visited the Promoting Malaria Prevention and Treatment project (ProMPT) in March 2012. This press release describes her visit and key activities of the ProMPT project. Managed by University Research Co., LLC, ProMPT is working to promote malaria prevention and treatment throughout Ghana. The project is funded by the US Agency for International Development through the President’s Malaria Initiative.
