Cambodia: Malaria Prevention and Control Activities

This brochure describes URC’s work to help the Cambodian government control malaria in four western provinces where the risk of multi-drug resistant malaria is emerging. The project is increasing access to and the use of insecticide-treated bed nets and malaria case management services, strengthening managerial capacity in the health care system, and fostering the development of policy and strategic interventions. The work includes bed net distribution, behavior change communications, lab support, and the mapping of drug resistant parasites.
