Overview

From 2013-2015, URC and its partners worked in Haiti's four northern departments to:

Increase Haitians' use of primary health care services, particularly in rural or isolated areas; Improve the functionality of selected referral networks that link communities with health care...

URC's non-profit affiliate, the Center for Human Services (CHS), partnered with Maxwell Stamp, Inc. to develop plans to rationalize health service delivery in health facility networks.

URC supported services offered by the Weight-Control Information Network (WIN), a program of the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases.

The project supported service restructuring and provider training to incorporate evidence-based clinical guidelines in maternal and infant health care, improve other aspects of quality in these services, and increase access to and demand for high-quality reproductive health services.
