8:00am – 10:00am EDT / 12:00 – 2:00pm GMT
What’s New in Scaling Up Continuous Quality Improvement for Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision
Dr. Jacobs will provide an overview of how CQI has been integrated into VMMC programming in six countries and explain how tablet-based tools are increasing the efficiency of PEPFAR-led External Quality Assurance (EQA) and Site Improvement Monitoring System (SIMS) visits in Swaziland, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, and Tanzania. She will provide an update on what tools and training are available to support programs in rolling out CQI.
Dr. Byabagambi will show how CQI has reduced adverse events and addressed other key implementation challenges and gaps identified through EQA.
Dr. Kundy will share how CQI is being introduced for Early Infant Male Circumcision (EIMC) services in one region of Tanzania.
