URC at TB 2016

URC participated in the 2016 TB Conference (TB 2016) on Saturday, 16 July and Sunday, 17 July. The conference, with its theme of “Science and Solidarity,” immediately preceded the International AIDS Conference in Durban, South Africa.

The URC South Africa team led advocacy walks, brought 30 African legislators to visit a MDR-TB hospital and church-based TB testing event, and celebrated the launch of our new TB South Africa Program with South Africa's Minister of Health.
