Join the third annual #GBVChat Wednesday, November 30, 2016

On Wednesday, November 30, 2016, URC will be supporting 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence with our third annual #GBVchat. This year’s theme is “Addressing Gender-Based Violence in a Changing World.” Please join this collaborative conversation.

At 10:00 ET, join the USAID ASSIST project as they explore the many ways in which the science of improvement can help address gender-based violence in health and social settings in their segment, “Addressing GBV through Quality Improvement.”  ASSIST partner WI-HER will follow at 10:30 with, “Exploring Innovative Approaches to GBV Prevention.”

The chat will take place from 9 am – 2 pm on November 30th. The Asia Foundation, World Vision, Knowledge for Health (K4Health), Chemonics, Banyan Global, ACDI/VOCA and Promundo each lead a half-hour segment and we will be joined by development and health experts, justice and community activists, for an insightful conversation on the issues surrounding gender-based violence.

Follow the conversation and join us on Twitter using the hashtag #GBVchat.
