Bolivia
URC has been active in Bolivia since 1981, when our non-profit affiliate, the Center for Human Services began efforts to guide Bolivia in strengthening their primary health care services through the multi-country USAID-funded Primary Health Care Operations Research Project (PRICOR).
Since then, URC has supported other flagship USAID programs in Bolivia, including the Quality Assurance Project and Health Care Improvement (HCI) Project. Through HCI, URC supported the Ministry of Health to increase the detection of new tuberculosis (TB) cases, improve the quality and coverage of TB control activities, and improve laboratory support to the TB program.
